Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) Features
- LSVs may be driven on roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less. As required by Federal law, the motors are built to operate between 20 - 25mph. Each has a license plate and state registration.
- Equipped with a DOT-approved windshield, DOT-approved tires, high-speed motor, windshield wiper, side and rearview mirrors, turn signals, speedometer and odometer, horn, battery charge indicator gauge, seat belts, reflectors, headlights and tail lights.
- Electric and each has an external charger.
- 6-passenger has two forward-facing seats and one rear-facing seat.
- 4-passenger has one forward-facing seat and one rear-facing seat.


Standard Golf Cart Features
- Golf carts may be driven on side roads within many communities in the Outer Banks, where the speed limit is 25mph or less. They may not be driven on main roads, such as Rt. 12, Rt. 158 and Ocean Trail. However, they are permitted to cross these roads at intersections.
- Equipped with a windshield, seat belts, headlights and tail lights, horn and low battery indicator.
- Electric and each has an external charger.
- 6-passenger has two forward-facing seats and one rear-facing seat.
- 4-passenger has one forward-facing seat and one rear-facing seat.
