At Outer Banks Beach Buggies, we service all makes and models of golf carts and LSVs (low speed vehicles). We also sell gently used golf carts and LSVs, and can custom build a cart to your specifications. Bring us your vision, and we will turn it into reality!

STANDARD GOLF CART TO STREET-LEGAL GOLF CART CONVERSIONS

We have our manufacturer’s license, so have the knowledge and ability to convert your standard golf cart into a street-legal golf cart (in DMV speak, a Low Speed Vehicle). Each completed conversion will have a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and all paperwork needed to take to DMV to get your license plate and registration!

Each conversion will be built using the equipment and features as required by both DMV and Department of Transportation - DOT-approved windshield, windshield wiper, side and rearview mirrors, turn signals, speedometer and odometer, horn, battery charge indicator gauge, a seat belt for each passenger, headlights and tail lights, back up sound indicator, brake lights, parking brake, reflectors.
